Attendance: William Floyd, President; Kinn Elliott, VP; Ingrid Talwin, Treasurer; Laurie Anderson, Secretary; Jennifer Felkel, Social; Christy Martin, Crime Watch; Scott White, Boat; Brad Clary, Landscaping

President: William Floyd – No report

Treasurer: Reported that there is $49623.77 in the HOA account. It was decided to put $20,000 in a 6 month CD.

Social Committee: Jennifer Felkel - Luau went great, about 12 families attended. The Slip & Slide is Sunday June 1, 4:00pm – 8:00pm. Social is planning fireworks at the dam event. The new “events” sign on Barberry was stolen – it will be replaced after sign security is worked out (Ken). Social wants to start a quarterly newsletter. Request that ALL COMMITTEE CHAIRS send her a blurb for the newsletter.

Landscaping: Pam’s husband Brad Clary, reported that the estimate for the marked dead trees is $1350. This is through Rogers Nursery. They have also offered a discounted rate to any neighbors that would like to have work done at the same time. A flier will be going out to the neighborhood. Boat Committee Chair requested a quote to take out or trim the trees hanging over boat storage. Pam will call them.

Ownership of “eyebrows” was discussed & it was suggested that ownership be turned over to SCHOA. This would be very costly & complicated. Could landscaping be taken over? Each group of “eyebrow” owners is responsible for its own upkeep.

Architectural Review Committee: received a written complaint about the painted soccer ball on top of the mailbox on Mourning Dove. It was decided & voted , the soccer ball needs to be removed. It is not natural cement like all other mailbox adornments. William will talk with the neighbor.

Boat Storage: Scott White - Trees need trimming or removing as previously discussed. There is a trailer with no id that just moved itself in and has not been assigned a slot. William & Board agreed that if there was no response to the sign that was left on the trailer, then it should be removed and parked outside the fence. Scott also made a recommedation to change the locks on boat storage. Boat Storage chair has sold his house & is moving. Richard Martin will be asked to chair boat storage Gate at the landing needs to be addressed. It has become a swing.

Amenities Committee: Pool was discussed. We have a six figure bid for a pool and clubhouse. This does not include parking lot. It is estimated that a pool and clubhouse would have $25,000 in annual expenses. There is a bid of $75,000 for two tennis courts, this does not include parking. We talked about playground equipment and a walking trail. Social Chair said the lack of amenities hurts us because some families will not look at a neighborhood that does not have a pool. We discussed asking Brent or Mackie to head this committee in the future.
