SECRET COVE SCOOP Vol. 2 August 2007

Boat Storage Renovations

Secret Cove’s Boat Storage Area is receiving a renovation! This is a necessary action that will maintain our real estate draw for lake access and boat storage and more adequately accommodate our existing neighbors who use this area. The Boat Storage Committee will supervise this project. The work will consist of:

  1. Replacing the perimeter fence
  2. Expanding the width and length of the storage area
  3. Adding new gravel

These actions will create more parking slots, improve the current ones, and widen the aisles, which will make it easier to access the boats. The two gates are fairly new and will not be replaced. The overall result will be a larger, nicer boat storage area! Scott expects the project to begin within the next several weeks. If you have a boat or trailer stored there, expect a call or notice from Scott or his committee to temporarily move your boat during an upcoming weekend while the gravel work is done. Please note that abandoned trailers (e.g. those with flat tires that haven’t moved in years) are subject to being permanently removed from the storage area to make room for boat storage. Please contact Scott White, committee chair, at 730-7939 or email boatchair@secretcove.org to help in this project or with questions.

Everyone remember to check the website for new info! The website committee will hold a meeting on Monday August 27 at 7:30pm at 420 Barberry Circle to receive input and discuss what our neighborhood would like to have placed on the website. Please attend this meeting as your input would be greatly appreciated!

New Neighbors

There are some new neighbors and homes that have been sold! Let’s welcome these families to our neighborhood! We need two people to participate in a welcoming committee. Please contact the HMA board via our website.
